Why We're Doing This

This renewed Teen Summer Theatre Program was inspired by a group of passionate local teens who approached Arts Davidson County asking for more opportunities to perform and participate in theatre. Their enthusiasm and dedication lit the spark for this production of Mean Girls High School Version.

Even more impressive? These teens are helping to fundraise to make it happen, working alongside us to cover the costs of rights, costumes, sets, and more. Their commitment reminds us why youth theatre matters: it empowers, it unites, and it builds something bigger than any one person.

​

Participation in the show is completely free.  We believe every teen should have the opportunity to shine on stage.

About the Show

Cady Heron may have grown up in the African savanna, but nothing prepared her for suburban high school. Mean Girls: High School Version is a fearless, funny musical about navigating friendship, fitting in, and standing up for what’s right with heart, humor, and lots of pink.

Want to Audition?

Open to Teens Ages 13–18
Prepare a song, learn a short dance, and bring your energy! No prior experience necessary.  We’re here to help you shine.
