3 Day Watercolor Workshop
with Dempsey Essick
Dempsey Essick is a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society and an official B.A.S.S. Artist. His labor-intensive watercolors have taken him to the National Academy of Design in New York City, Colorado's Rocky Mountain Water Media Exhibition, Wisconsin's New Visions Expo and to Canadian Summers at Penticton. His collectors are both national and international. Realizing his talent is a gift from God, he is thankful for the success he has enjoyed. Dempsey is known as the Hummingbird Artist not only for the hummers he paints but also for the inclusion of a rebus hidden hummingbird in his paintings. Now retired from the retail end of the art world having closed his gallery in 2017, Essick continues with commissioned projects at his home studio and is an art instructor for Davidson-Davie Community College. He loves camping and fishing and is always looking for a painting subject. See other art at www.dempseyessick.com and find Dempsey Essick on Facebook.
