Grassroots Arts Program (GAP)

Arts Davidson County administers the North Carolina Arts Council Grassroots Arts Program (GAP) sub-grant awards. Nonprofit organizations in the county are eligible to apply for sub-grants in support of arts operations and programming. Arts programming activities include arts education, artist-in-school events, concerts, festivals, galleries, literary arts, performing arts, and visual arts events.

Arts Davidson County is also hosting two Grassroots Arts Program Grant Workshop to assist interested applicants in preparing competitive grants on Tuesday, September 5 at 11:30am and 6:00pm at Arts | Theatre 202.
ALL APPLICANTS MUST ATTEND, OR SEND A DESIGNATED PERSON FROM THEIR ORGANIZATION, TO ONE OF THESE WORKSHOPS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A SUBGRANT.
Please RSVP to amanda@artsdavidsoncounty.org to reserve your spot. Grant applications are evaluated by a diverse panel of community members and voted on by Arts Davidson County’s Board of Directors. Awards are announced in November each year.
