Blake Henkel is an artist with autism. Residing in his own apartment in his parents' basement, he began painting over 20 years ago at age 12 while being homeschooled. Preferring acrylics, he finds joy in vibrant colors.

Blake's art has reached a wide audience, with eight pieces featured at the International Home Furnishings Market through Yosemite Home Decor. These works are available nationwide, both in physical stores and online retailers. In 2018, he was a showcased artist on WGHP Fox 8's "Roy's Folks."

Despite verbal communication challenges, Blake eloquently expresses his perception of beauty through his brush strokes. He dedicates four weekly painting sessions, receiving guidance at The Arc of High Point and collaborating with local artist Dana Holliday for inspiration and mischief.

Blake's current website sells not only original pieces of his artwork, but also reproductions of various items. From ceramic pieces to canvas prints, tote bags, jewelry, and more, his art is a testament to his extraordinary creativity and ability to convey the beauty he sees.
