SUPPORT THE ARTS.  STRENGTHEN
OUR COMMUNITY.

Arts Davidson County
2027 Campaign

Building a Stronger Future for the Arts

For 60 years, Arts Davidson County has helped bring creativity, culture, music, theater, and visual arts to our community. From performances and exhibitions to arts education and opportunities for local artists, the arts bring people together, inspire new ideas, and make Davidson County a more vibrant place to live.

Now, we're asking our community to help carry that tradition forward.

A thriving arts community takes more than creativity. It takes resources, collaboration, and community support. As the designated arts council for Davidson County, Arts Davidson County works in partnership with the North Carolina Arts Council to bring state arts funding into our community. In 2026-2027, approximately $111,000 in state funding will help support arts and cultural opportunities throughout Davidson County, including grants to local arts organizations.

Private contributions are an important part of making this work possible. Your support helps us meet required fundraising commitments, provide resources to local arts organizations, and sustain Arts Davidson County itself.

Your support helps keep our theater and gallery open, brings exhibitions and summer arts camps to our community, provides opportunities for local artists and arts organizations, and makes music, theater, and cultural programming possible throughout Davidson County. It also supports the staffing, resources, and operations necessary to keep this work moving forward.

Our initial fundraising goal for 2027 is $50,000.  This is an important milestone, but our vision extends well beyond that number.  Every additioanl contribution strengthens our ability to serve the community, support local arts organizations, and build a sustainable future for the arts.

Whethere you contribute $25 or $25,000, you have a place in this effort.  When you give to Arts Davidson County, you are investing in both the arts throughout our county and the organization working to make those opportunities possible.

For 60 years, our community has helped make the arts possible.  Let's make sure the next 60 years are just as meaningful.
