About the Festival
The Davidson County Folk Arts Festival is a new event celebrating the traditions and craftsmanship that shape our region.
The festival will bring together artists, musicians, makers, cooks, and community members for a weekend of creativity and connection in downtown Lexington.
Visitors can expect:
• A curated artisan and craft market
• Live folk and acoustic music
• Craft demonstrations and hands-on workshops
• A Friday night BBQ & Smoke Cook-Off
• Local food vendors
• Family-friendly activities and heritage games

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING...
Artisan Vendors
Artists and makers working in handmade and traditional craft mediums are invited to apply.
BBQ & Smoke Cook-off Teams
Kick off the festival by competing in our Friday night cook-off celbrating smoked and barbecued food.
Demonstration artists
We are seeking artisans willing to share their craft with the public through demonstrations or short workshops.
